1878-S VAM-75 Doubled E L-BUS, UNUM, Engraved Wing Feather

Discovered by Calvin Cherry, July 2002.
75(revised) II 31 · B2al (Doubled E L-BUS, UNUM, Engraved Wing Feather) (181) I-2 R-4
Obverse II 31– E L-BUS & UNUM letters slightly doubled at bottom inside towards rim. Left stars very slight sextupled towards rim. Chin slightly doubled. Fourth right star broken.
Die markers: Comma die chip at top inside of ear and large die chip at top of Phrygian cap.
Reverse B2al– Earlier die state than VAM-55 . Initial die state not over polished. After dies clashed, center of both wings slightly over polished.

Comments:
1. VAM 75 and VAM-75A are the same die pair
2. R in Trust is not broken.
