Discovered November 2003 by Mike Torgrimson, Revision March 2004 by Mark Kimpton
This coin is a Hot 50 and a WOW! Morgan VAM.
14-4A(revised) I22 · A1i (Concave Fields, Clashed Obverse In & t) (180) I-3 R-5
Obverse I22– Clashed die with faint partial incuse In of In from reverse showing next to Liberty head neck and partial incuse t of Trust from reverse showing in right hair vee of lower hair edge. Same clashed die as VAM 2A.
Note: Occurs with rotated reverse of 20 degrees CW.

  1. The obverse clash is from the pairing with VAM 2A reverse, so unless there is a LDS obverse known, all VAM 14.4 show this clash.
