Discovered by Leroy Van Allen, December 1965.
This coin is a Top 30 1878 Variety
118 II/I 20 - B2a (Shifted P) (194) I-2 R-4
Obverse II/I 20- Top of P's bottom serif doubled and P is spiked at top. Top of U in PLURIBUS doubled, L in PLURIBUS doubled on right, E in PLURIBUS slightly doubled on top right. LIBERTY doubled to left. 7 in date slightly doubled on right. Stars1, 3, 4, 5, and 7 left, and 1, 2, and 5 right doubled.

Reverse B2a - R in TRUST not broken, O in God closed.

1. Die markers - Rust lump and diagonal line in Phygian Cap fold; REV - small die scratch that resembles a tadpole 'swimming' toward the back edge of the lower arrowhead.
