1921-P VAM-77 Quadrupled Stars, Doubled Date & E Pluribus, Scribbling Die Scratches

77 IV 58 - D2a (Quadrupled Stars, Doubled Date & E Pluribus, Scribbling Die Scratches) (189) I-2 R-5
Obverse IV 58- Slightly quadrupled left stars and right stars on surface edge towards rim. Date digits slightly doubled and tripled towards rim as are E PLURIBUS letters.
Reverse D2a- Fine die scratches in various directions on over polished tail feathers around eagle’s right leg and between eagle’s left wing and body.
Die Marker- Short, shallow diagonal die gouge below eagle's right wing and vertical die scratch at left side of D in DOLLAR on late die states.

1. Pitting on the reverse between the S and O has also been seen on one late die state example.
