1921-P VAM-3U1 Pierced Neck Die Gouge

Discovered by C. Logan McKechnie July 2004.
3U1 IV 1 D2a (Pierced Neck Die Gouge, Scribbling Die Scratches) (189) I-2 R-6
Obverse IV 1 - Horizontal die gouge at neck front two-thirds up from point.
Reverse D2a - Fine die scratches in various directions on over polished tail feathers around eagle’s right leg and between eagle's left wing and body.
Die marker - Vertical die gouge above bow left ribbon.
