1921-D VAM-1L1 Die Break AM

1L1 IV 1 · D2a (Die Break AM, Scribbling Die Scratches) (189) I-2 R-5
Reverse D2a– Small die break from the top left of M in AMERICA extending to left halfway to A top.
Fine die scratches in various directions on over polished tail feathers around eagle’s right leg, between eagle’s left wing and body and in middle of both wings. Die marker - Long vertical die scratch in middle of tail feathers between eagle's legs.

Reverse D2a– Late die state shows fine polishing lines thru bottom of ERI and vertical polished bands thru n G of In God,
2- The VAM-1L variety has one of the nicer breaks in the 1921-D grouping. There is a significant die break emerging from the top left side of the M in AMERICA, running to the left toward the neighboring A. Look at the size of the break coming off the M!
