1902-O VAM-50 Doubled Profile, Gouge on 2, 2 Olive Reverse

Discovered December 2005.
50 III28 · C4/C3w (Doubled Profile, Gouge on 2, 2 Olive Reverse) (181) I-3 R-5
Obverse III28– Horizontal die gouge on base of 2.
Reverse C4/C3w– III O mint mark centered and upright. Faint extra olive to right of olive connected to olive branch. Doubling at back of lower arrow head, top feathers in eagle’s left wing and back of eagle’s nostril and eye.
Die marker: Three vertical thread-like impressions on tail feathers between eagle’s legs.
