1901-O VAM-38 Slanted Date, 2 Olive Reverse

Discovered by John Baumgart, October 2003.
38 III26 · C4/C3p (Slanted Date, 2 Olive Reverse) (181) I-3 R-5
Reverse C4/C3p– Extra olive to right of olive connected to olive branch. Doubling at lower base of left and lower olive leaf clusters, top of middle arrow shaft, back of lower arrow head, top feathers of eagle’s left wing, and right side of eagle’s nostril and eye. III O mint mark centered with slight tilt to right.

Date is set at the right edge of the normal lateral position with an upward slant.
The mint mark is tilted to the right.
This is a C4/C3 reverse with a doubled olive and doubling on the bases of some olive leaves on the branch.
The eagle's eye and nostril are doubled.
The upper left (viewer's right) wing is doubled.
UN of UNITED also exhibit doubling from the dual hubbing.
