Discovery August 2018 by Roger Beckner.
III2 42 - C3a (Doubled Ear) (187) I-2 R-5
Obverse III2 42 - Slightly doubled ear at right inside.
Die Marker: Polishing lines at wheat kernals between RI.
Reverse C3a -
Die Marker:Some polishing lines and die scratch eagle's left leg.


  1. Discussion ensued as to whether this coin is a duplicate of VAM-6. While the VAM-6 page shows pictures with the same attributes of this coin, a re-submittal of the VAM-65A discovery coin to Leroy Van Allen by Roger Beckner to delist was rejected. So it remains a valid listing.
