1900-O VAM-11 O/CC High Shifted Left
Discovered by Leroy Van Allen, December 1965.
This coin is a Top 100 Morgan VAM.
11 III2 3 - C3i (O/CC High Shifted Left) (181) I-4 R-4
Obverse III2 3 - Date set much further left than normal. Open 9.
Reverse C3i - O mint mark centered and punched over CC. The CC mint mark remains are set high and shifted to the left. The arch of the first C is visible on the left. The second C shows as a spike on O to the lower right.
Comments:
1- The 1900-O/CC VAM-11 is one of several O over CC coins. These VAMs include 1900-O VAM-7, 1900-O VAM-7a, 1900-O VAM-8a, 1900-O VAM-9, 1900-O VAM-10, 1900-O VAM-11 and 1900-O VAM-12.

Additionally, a common die marker for this VAM is a "Thread-Like" impression on the lower cap, above the hair ribbon.
Note: MDS Specimen with no threadlike impression on cap...unverified could be worn off
Clashed n and Clashed t, bow crack, chip on obverse between P and L all to minor to list and clashed transfer is a matter opinion
and LVA has seen several similar specimens.
