Obverse III2 1 -
Die 1- Date lateral position slightly left of middle of normal position.
Die marker - Numerous diagonal polishing lines in upper bar of E in LIBERTY. Occurs with earlier die state of reverse.
Die 2 - Date lateral position at right edge of normal position.
Die marker - Long diagonal polishing line thru E in LIBERTY. Occurs with later die state reverse.
Reverse C3l - IV S mint mark re-punched mint mark with original showing to right of upper serif, broken line in upper part of upper loop on EDS and diagonal line below middle bar. Arrow shafts and feathers doubled at bottom edges.

1. Die 1 and Die 2 share the exact reverse die Paired with 2 different obverses
2. Die 2 shares the exact obverse with VAM-45 , VAM-45A
3. Crack on forehead is very similar but DIFFERENT than the crack forehead of VAM-38
