28B III2 16 · C3a (Possible 0 Top in Denticles, Denticle Impressions Wreath Bow, Clashed Obverse n & st) (181) I-4 R-5
Reverse C3a - Two raised dot triangles to left of wreath bow with 0.030" spacing and one dot triangle 0.020" below left upper triangle of denticle impressions. Occurs before VAM 28A but some die states show both features. III O mint mark set slightly high
Comments:
- Same as VAM 28A, and has additional denticle clashes on reverse
- The date is centered in the normal position, unlike VAM 1B, which is a little to the left within normal position.
