1888-P VAM-2 Near and High Date

Discovered by Charles Wallace, February 1959.
2 III2 2 C3a (Near and High Date) (190) I-2 R-3
Obverse III2 2- Date set further left and higher than normal.
Reverse C3a - Normal Die.

Comments:

  1. The date for VAM 2 is clearly left of the normal position. Do not confuse with VAM 9, which also has a high date, but is set at the left edge of normal position.
