1887-P VAM-6 Low Far Date
Discovered July-2012 by Juan Arrioja
6 (revised) III2 6 - C3a ( Low Far Date) (189) I-2 R-4
Obverse III2 6 -Date set lower and further right than normal with die chip between loops of first 8 on left side.
Comments:
1. Same die polishings lines in middle of TF as vam 6A (old vam 6),same die polishing in LIBERTY,
same die as vam 6A without spiked TF.
2.- On the reverse of both VAMs 6 and 6A, count the outer feathers of the right wing from the bottom up to #7 and go across to the inner feather where you will find a nice round chip. This is present on both 6's.
