1887-O VAM-23 Quadrupled Stars, Near Date

Discovered by John Baumgart, July 1997.

Obverse III2 19– All left stars tripled or quadrupled towards rim and all right stars and E PLURI doubled towards rim. Date set further left than normal.

Comments: 1- Slight rim cuds partially filling the spaces between some of the denticles around 7:00 on the obverse, from the left edge of the
date to the 2nd left star.
2- A truly evil mimic of VAM 5.
