Discovered by Leonard Hinckley, February 1974.
1A III2 1 • C3a (Lines in 6)(187) I-2 R-3
Obverse III2 1 - Horizontal lines in lower loop of 6.
Reverse C3a - Medium mint mark centered and upright.

Comments:

  1. Seems to be same die pair as VAM 1B.
  2. Lines in 6 disappear on LDS coins, but are strong on some with the chip present.
  3. Chip in O not present in early die stage.
