1886-P VAM-25 Doubled 6 Top Loop

Discovered 2012
25 III2 24- C3a (Doubled 6 Top Loop) (189) I-2 R-5
Obverse III2 24 - Slightly doubled top inside of 6 upper loop

1. The VAM-25 was a chance discovery. The doubled 6 was noticed on a roll end coin with heavy brown toning. The toning made the doubling stand out under 10X. It's difficult to see on brilliant coins unless you know what you're looking for. Ben100 (Discoverer)
NOTE:this variety appears to be a duplicate of vam 12 (EDS)

Additional Photos:

The doubling can be difficult to see depending on the light.
Below are a couple die marker areas.

At one point the dies lightly clashed. The clash positions might also help confirm or exclude a clashed candidate.
