38 III2 34 - C3a (Doubled 5 Top ) (179) I-3 Proof
Obverse III2 34 - Slightly doubled top of 5.
Die marker - Diagonal polishing line in T of Liberty.
Reverse C3a - Slightly doubled bottom edge of lower arrow shaft.
Die marker - Tiny die chips in wing-neck gap
LVA Comments:
1. The 1885 P proof has 2 different dies: VAM-31 and VAM-38 Proof listed, Dont know why two sets of proof dies were used in 85, "a rare coin
as only a 930 proof coins were struck". correct 179 reeding for proof. Interesting coin!
2. Submittal VAM's-2,10,11 and 13 were submitted with this coin for comparisons of the doubled 5 Top
