1884-O VAM-45 Very Far Date, Doubled Arrow Heads
Discovered by Bill Sampson, March 2005.
45 III25 · C3w (Very Far Date, Doubled Arrow Heads) (181) I-2 R-5
Obverse III25– Date set much further right than normal with slight slant with 1 closer to rim than 4. Ear very slightly doubled on right and left inside.
Reverse C3w– Slightly double lower edge of middle and lower arrow head, outside edge of top right wreath leaf cluster, top inside of wreath bow and designer’s initial M. Slight doubling of We Trust towards rim.
