1884-O VAM-14 O/O Right High, Far Date, Doubled Tail Feathers

Discovered by Bill Fivaz, February 1973.

Reverse C3j– II O mint mark re-punched with original showing as a curved line at top of opening shifted slightly to right. Bottom edge of eagle’s 1-5 tail feathers slightly doubled.

LVA Comments:
1- Very slight dblg of 1 below top crossbar using 30X stereo microscope but not strong enough to list using 10X loupe.
2- The bottom edge of the eagle’s 3rd through 7th tail feathers are slightly doubled as shown.
