1883-P VAM-1B Pitted Liberty Head

Discovered by Mark Kleiman, March 2006.
1B III2 1 · C3a (Pitted Liberty Head) (190) I-2 R-5
Obverse III2 1 – Normal die with raised dots all over Liberty head from rusted die. A little coarser than usual fine pits on some 1883 P dies.
Reverse C3a – Normal die with very fine rusted die pits on eagle of usual size for 1883 P dies.

Comments:
1. Note: The reed count here is 190, while the normal reported reed count is 180.
