1882-P VAM-1J Metal in Date

Discovery December 2014 by: Ronald Gapa
1J lll2-1 C3a Metal in Date (?) l-2 R-5
Obverse III2-1 - Same Obverse Die as VAM-21 with metal and polishing lines in both 8's and 2.
Die Marker - Heavy polishing lines in hair, cap, and inside ear.
Reverse C3a - Motto and legend letters are not doubled like VAM-21.

LVA Comments:
1. New VAM 1J. Same obv die with metal in 882 as in VAM21, but doesn't have dbld rev. Old VAM 1J as resported by Lance Newman in Apr 2014 with collar clash on obv became 1E1, so old listing had been deleted before was included in a VAM supplement. [ Letter ]

1. [Prior to LVA attribution.]
