1880-S VAM-75 Doubled Date, Doubled S

Discovered by Mike Torgrimson, April 2004.

75 III2 32 ∙ C3j (Doubled Date, Doubled S) ( ? ) I-2 R-5
Obverse III2 32 – Entire date is doubled. 1 is doubled on surface at lower right side of vertical shaft and top right of lower crossbar.. First 8 doubled on surface at left inside of both loops and on right outside of lower loop. Second 8 doubled at lower left outside of upper loop. 0 doubled strongly at top left outside and faintly on top right outside.
Reverse C3j – IV S mint mark with filled top loop and diagonal shaft doubled inside lower loop.

1- This obverse shared with VAM-47, VAM-75, and VAM-86.
2- This reverse shared with VAM-21, VAM-27, VAM-68 and VAM-75.
