1879-S VAM-75 Doubled Profile, Bulging Stars, Gouge in Bow, Over Polished Reverse.

75 III2 39 - C3x (Doubled Profile, Bulging Stars, Gouge in Bow, Over Polished Reverse) I-2 R-5
Obverse III2 39 - Slightly doubled liberty head profile from hair edge to chin and 4-7 left stars towards rim. Polishing line in fields. Closed 9.
Die Marker-Right stars rounded edges towards rim from over polishing.
Reverse C3x - Same reverse die as VAM-16A , VAM-65, VAM-75 and VAM-80 with acid treated lower right ribbon middle towards S mint mark, bow and some leaves in left wreath. Over Polished reverse with shallow peripheral letters and thin disconnected wreath leaves.
1- The Reverse Die use sequence is VAM-80, followed by VAM-65, then VAM-16A and lastly VAM-75.
