3A Discovered Oct 2008 by Terry Wallace, Re-Classified as VAM-73 2010
73 III2 8 - C3b (Doubled 18, S Tilted Left, Die Chips Below 18) (185) I-2 R-5
Obverse III2 8 – Shallow die chips above 5 denticle spaces below 18. Earlier die state of die chips than VAM 15.
Reverse C3b – Centered IV S mint mark tilted to left.
Comments:
1- VAM-3A Eliminated May 2010. Became VAM 73 because of Doubled 18. It is the same discovery coin as VAM 3A.
2- This obverse die was used on VAM-15, VAM-20 and VAM-73.
