1879-S VAM-68 Doubled 7, S/S Middle

Discovered July 1, 2008. by Brian Raines

68 III2 25 - C3e (Doubled 7, S/S Middle) (183) I-2 R-5
Obverse-
Reverse C3e - IV S mint mark doubled at bottom of upper loop as thick slanted bar and in middle of lower loop as a curved line. Same die as VAM-14 but has been severely over polished with top arrow head partially missing and lower two leaves in second left cluster reduced to two leaves.

Comments:
1- Same obverse as VAM-50.
