1879-S VAM-64 Doubled Date Tripled Stars, Acid Treated Lower Hair

Obverse III2 34 – Double date with 1 strongly above bottom crossbar and slightly below, 8 at the top right outside and left inside of upper loop and slightly at bottom outside of lower loop, 7 slightly at top and right side of vertical shaft and 9 at left outside of upper loop. Designer's initial M slightly doubled at top as is eye front. Lower hair over polished with gaps and missing hair at rear below cap bottom end. Very fine scribbling die scratches in various directions on Liberty head face.
Reverse C3a – Possible die chip on S mint mark center, but needs second specimen for confirmation.
1- LDS Obverse die with over polished hair, shared with VAM-80.
