1879-S VAM-13 S/S Right

Discovered by Leonard Hinckley, February 1974.
13 III2 2 ∙ C3d (S/S Right) (184) I-2 R-3
Obverse III2 2 – Normal die of type III2 with open 9.
Reverse C3d – IV S mint mark doubled on all of right side of upper serif.
Comments:vam 13 die diagnostics are not clear yet and more research is being done to find out if vam 13 exists or is a duplicate for another listed vam, Do not rely on pictures provided here as they seem to match vam 15 dies
1- This reverse die was used on VAM-13 and VAM-53.
