1878-S VAM-96 S/S Triangles, Lines in LIB

Discovered by John Roberts, April 2005.

96 II 1 · B2ba (S/S Triangles, Lines in LIB) (185) I-3 R-4
Obverse II 1– Heavy die polishing lines thru LIB in LIBERTY, same as VAM-1G. die 1
Reverse B2ba– Centered III S mint mark doubled with curved line on left inside of upper loop with raised triangle above it and vertical raised triangle in lower loop. R in Trust not broken. Feather not engraved between eagle’s right wing and leg.
