1878-S VAM-68 Doubled LIBERTY, Engraved Wing Feather, Reverse Die Used in 1879

Discovered by Calvin Cherry, February 2002.
This coin is a Top 30 1878-S Variety.
68 II 28 · B2ad (Doubled LIBERTY, Engraved Wing Feather, Reverse Die Used in 1879) (184) I-4 R-5
Obverse II 28– LIBERTY doubled on left side. LIBERTY band edge, front of hair, bottom front of eye and chin slightly doubled.
Reverse B2ad– Same die as VAM-45, This Die was later used on 1879-S VAM-9.
