1878-S VAM-63 S/S Right

Obverse II1 - Diagonal die Scratch in front of eye. Beveled insides of 8's loops. Late die state has polished die with shortened scratch in front of eye and removed beveling in loops of both 8's.
Die marker - Long diagonal polishing line in hair below cap rear.

Reverse B2an - III S Mint Mark doubled as curved diagonal line in middle of upper loop opening. Long horizontal polishing line thru neck and eagle’s right wing as in VAM 1. R in Trust not broken. No engraved wing feather.
