1878-S VAM-21 Doubled LIBERTY Left, Broken B, Concave Obverse, Engraved Wing Feather

Discovered by Jim Baxter, September 1977.

Obverse II 7– Same die as for VAM 9 but further polished with slightly concave fields near rim, especially at top right.
Reverse B2f– Left wreath, lower part of right wreath, UNITED STATES, ONE DOLLAR and left star doubled towards rim. Doubled o in God at bottom. Feather engraved between eagle’s right wing and leg. R in Trust not broken.
