I got to look at an 1878-CC B.U. roll

It was a thrill, as I'd never seen one of these before. :D
They were pretty much all MS63s and a few MS62s. Nearly all were VAM 9, but I did notice at least one VAM 17. Not a trace of clashing on any of them.

Seriously though, mostly the same die pair? Sounds like an original bag roll from the 60s... or someone just loved the v9

Nice! I have yet to see an original roll of CC's. I have been fortunate to see some 81-S 79-S and 85-O rolls

Actually a little surprised there was only one v17... and no 2a’s or 19’s? Yeah, must have been together for quite some time... Would be cool to see though!
I go totally NUTS for WOW! VAMs!! Or is that from WOW! VAMs?

A pile of VAM 9's is no surprise. I've seen a couple of apparently original rolls over the years. None of them made me want to buy them. Cool to see though....
