It is Not the same marriage as D1 and D3, I believe it is Ron's reverse...Can you confirm the clash please, we can look at secondaries then.

I have the clashed 1D3 pictured on the page, this is not that clash.

I suspect this, so far:

Ron's marriage clashed they shelfed the reverse and it pitted in storage/during repair, re-married different obverse for 1D2. It appears as if Ron's obverse prolly re-married to the 36, prior to 36A clashing.

Now IF Leroy sees the st on Ron's coin, that would help matters regarding this marriage.

I have a 1D2. Mine has the rusted die pits around the E on the reverse. Have I missed anyone mentioning this?

Keep looking.
Look everywhere, it's listed for something else entirely, listed for the later state of the reverse.
It's out of place in the variety it's listed for...

What we have here is the Pre-D2 listing...currently VAM 1 or 1C, depending on the day...
