It's that time again. December 1st is coming soon. We didn't have an alternate version of VAM Thing last year so the registry awards were not announced or presented. We are going to double dip this time and do last year's then this year's awards. Still going with silver eagles in custom holders for the awards instead of plaques.
Get those final tweaks to your sets in place before Dec. 1st
Hope to see many of you at FUN at VAM Thing on January 7th

A HUGE thanks again to you and ANACS for conducting this program. VAMworld is a better thing because of it. :D

I've updated the SSDC Registry awards page to reflect the winners from 2021 and 2022. The awards have now been presented, or notified by email. A couple of the winners still need to respond. Thanks again to everyone that participated in the registry.

Another year has come and gone and it's getting to be time to look at your sets again and do those last minute updates. December 1st is closing in quickly.

And there's still time to discover more 1921-Ps!

You can find them, but can you get them into your set in time? The judge might play dirty....

It's difficult to complete in the registry. There are many tabulation errors and head scratching scores. I keep trying though.

Example.. 1878 63DMPL VAM-21 is 520 points, yet an MS65 is only 325 points. An 1878 VAM-3 in 63DMPL is only 260 points, MS65 is also 260 pts. VAM-21 and 3 seem to have a similar rarity in DMPL.

The problem this causes for me it that now I have to have two coins for some slots to complete here and on PCGS. On PCGS I want an MS65 VAM-21. For the SSDC to complete I'll need to find an MS63DM as well.

Many sets also have tabulation errors. I challenge everyone to add up the scores of their sets to see what I mean.

Wanted to reply to my last post since I'm not the best communicator at times. I very much appreciate the work of everyone involved with the registry. Every time I have mentioned an issue it has been quickly addressed.
