I'm more interested in the VAMs than a broken planchet. It is cool, but not what I collect. Sorry I can't help you more, but I would only buy it if it was a VAM I wanted. I would not pay extra for the broken planchet unless it was a super rare VAM that I had been hunting for some time.
So in short, for me, it would be worth the graysheet for that year/mm.
I do understand that it may be worth more to someone that collects that type of thing. Maybe there is a site other than VW where you can find out.
