1878s vam 78 die 5
could each of you check your die 5's for re engraved nostril? mine has an obviously re engraved nostril, in addition to the engraving lines on the jaw.

VAM 103 Obverse Die 5 is a II15 Obverse. Used for 7+- parings. Polished many times. TDITD or it isn't

What does the reverse of v103.5 have to do with the obverse of v78 die5?

To confirm that it’s a 103 die 5 as it’s original holder was misatterbuted .
Ok I’ll bit, it was attributed as a 103 die 3.
