I posted regular grades as im not sure if Anacs will cameo a non pl/dmpl???
All i have seen are pl/dmpl.-and i love em- so figured to start buying em up
IMHO- Cameo designation on holder is worth a premium especially along with
a PL or DMPL grade. I may be the only one to think like this-but stranger things
I've done in numismatics have paid off handsomely.

So the attribution you are looking for is "PL" or "DMPL", and not the vam #. Or maybe better put, we are looking for a condition attribution instead of a vam variation. Am I close?

Too easy It will say Cameo Pl Or Dmpl.

The coin will say for example: ms 63 Cameo PL or DMPL
62 cAMEO dmpl

etc etc

I'm confused now. None of the coins pictured above have the word cameo on the label. Anyway, Isn't the word cameo used in describing proofs, and not business strikes?

Thanks Rob. It confused me that none of the above examples included the word cameo. And what made it worse is that I thought "cameo" was used only in the description of proof coins. Your example is the first time I've ever seen the word "cameo" used on a business strike. Fascinating

Even more fascinating is that I cracked the above coin out of a plain old PCGS MS holder... I love dealers sending in bulk submissions.

Fascinating X 2 !!!!! Would it be correct that PCGS and NGC only use the word "cameo" when describing proof strike coins and not on business strike coins? And while on the subject, does ANACS have a price guide like PCGS and NGC? And finally, are we on the verge of high-jacking morganman's thread?

Since original post i decided to monitor E bay sales as well as some other reputable sales venues
Turns out the cameo pl/dmpl Anacs are bringing nice premiums equal to or above PCGS pl or dmpl
retails price guides and numismedia.com. Makes me feel like owning more of em is a good idea.
I just got 6 in mail and their all PQ exceptional deep mirrors eye candy +++++++++++++
