I think so...
(I am assuming a displaced field is not necessary in this.)

Could that 4th left star be considered as tripled?

I would list that as VAM 40A if it weren't already listed as VAM 40A.

I remember a lengthy thread with Bert, on the old site regarding 1921 D 1T

Or speficslly, when does a 1T actually become a 1 T1. The answer was visible field displacement….just dayin’

Also an 1882 is ONLY a 31A with visible partial letter transfer And a PL REVERSE
Just because the overse has a clash it is not necessarily the 31A, unless it has been changed from what my letter says…..the listing on that page is deficient

I see the displacement in the plate shot. Sorry, I don't see the light shift on yours.

I would bet that thread with Bert would be a good read...Your 1921 D 1T [series] Discovery http://ec2-13-58-222-16.us-east-2.compu ... -D_VAM-1T1 is a good study of displacement varietys.
I find this interesting and would like to figure out how to photograph a displacement with our new photographing technology.
Please see photos 1 &2 pictured in my post above.

How were those taken way back then? Photo 2 looks painted on/enhanced somehow. :)

Thanks for sharing.

Thats @messydesk

You are good at keeping a thread on track. I think you may need some practice on hijacking one; properly :)

I am just kidding!

I can do better than that. If a thread is hijacked and starts going to a bad place, I can launch a little cyber-SAM and blow it out of the sky.

and it pales in comparison to what the site's founder could have (still) done had he chose to.

You would have to be crazy to mess with the Johns and LVA!

Your combined knowledge demands respect.

I will definitely start a new thread if it gets out of hand.

I appreciate the way this ship is run.
(I keep looking for a leak but can't find one that you haven't already pointed out.) :)

It's really just light placement or if you cartwheel it in the sun, you really can't miss it.

I'll wait to stand corrected, but I don't see visible displacement.
Should be easy enough to capture in a pic...if it's there.
