That 1879 s vam 1 may not be a vam 1,

It was a great show. Didn't buy coins for myself (except some Daniel Carr candy). Only picked up books on Early Halves. I have avoided them entirely as I know my personality and would end up with a hundred of them within a month. To be disciplined, I am only chasing R-5 (maybe some R-4) Overtons and rarer and not for a personal collection. Let's just see how that works out. Picked up one rarity so far, after the show. Saw a few others, but passed on price. Anyway, I am glad I chose Denver over Central States (the prior week). I heard there were too many pickers at the latter.
