If you're referring to the rim it appears to be PMD, maybe the start of a cud. IMO

agree with the above. it looks a little rough for a rim cud but tough to tell from the images, not that they are bad.

Looks like a beat up die edge to me. In the die so not PMD. But nothing special as happens a lot.

That makes the most sense given "wormy S" symmetry. It's hard to imagine damage like that without other indicators.

I agree with Mike7E, it is rim deterioration, not PMD
