Grades back from NGC and many other TPGs....
1882 $1 UNC DETAILS - CLEANED
1922 TOP-50 $1 VAM-2A EAR RING LDS MS 61
1934 D TOP-50 $1 VAM-4 SMALL D DDO MOTTO UNC DETAILS - CLEANED
So, I've had these (except the 1882) for quite some time. they all
have visited PGCS, NGC and ANACS, some multiple times.
JB has seen the Earring and the V4 and said he didn't see a problem
with them. the 1882 (V35, go Nate!!)does have some cleaning, but I feel
it should straight grade at some point. I'll wait a few years and resub them again...

NOICE!
You seem to always be lucky in locating VAM-4.
Nates VAM-35 has always eluded me. Well done for finding one.

WHAAAA????? I've had the discovery coin stuck to my fridge since shortly after Nate's VERY UNTIMELY passing!!
For newer members that never knew Nate, a little back round (and cautionary tale...):
Nate Malliard (sp?) was a 20-something year old VAMmer from Meadville, PA. By all accounts, he had a pretty rough upbringing, but had a son with his longtime girlfriend and worked at FedEx while putting himself through school (I believe he wanted to be an accountant). Nate didn't smoke, didn't drink, but LOVED heavy metal music. He was working on a die study for 1883-O (in tandem another member here). In the second half of his 20s he developed a persistent cough, sore throat and trouble swallowing. He actually roomed with me at the Baltimore show during this time and it was obvious that his condition bothered him... a lot. He saw his doctor, then saw him again, and again, and again, even seeing a specialist or two along the way. When none of this helped he asked to see a different specialist. Nate was now 28 years old and this new specialist revealed to him that he had throat cancer. As I recall the story, they said he should go to the hospital and on his way there he suffered cardiac arrest and passed away... at 28 years old...
Those that knew him feel free to correct any inaccuracies in this story.

I have this one, an AU details scratched (funny enough it has MY initials scratched into it!),
An XF45 and maybe one or 2 more.
