This was a good read for me this morning on a coin with very few VAMs. I have the VAM 6 (tilted micro D) and short blurbs like this with pictures make me want to pull it out and take another look. It's also nice to see they are filling in their price guide with values for some of the VAMs. Hopefully they continue to expand the guide and write these short but informative articles. I think it would really help expand the ranks of VAM explorers.

Description was too short when no mention of the strong doubling inside top of D (GOD) was made. I remember how impressive this doubled D looked on my first well circulated 1934 D VAM 3 cherry picked specimen.

The obverse really is a one and done deal. If you look at one of these, there are four shorter rays at the back of the tiara. There's only supposed to be two
