1888 P VAM HELP TRIPLE? QUADRUPLE?
I'm having a hard time finding a match for this 1888 P. I think it has some light letter clash "n", the date is doubled but I don't see a doubled profile. In addition either reverse is doubled, tripled?, in some cases quadrupled? There are die scratches reverse and a squiggle in the last 8. Any help is appreciated.

Tripled A and R in America? Quadrupled left leaves and/or berries? Also die scratches and the right star reverse doubling.

Vam 12A by the reverse it looks like. What about the berries and leaves are they truly trip/quad or is it just a worn die?
Re: 1888 P VAM HELP TRIPLE? QUADRUPLE?
I have two like this, I think the tripling on America is doubling with what appears to be the third is die deteriation. I think the leaf in your photo and on mine is tripled if not quadrupled and not sure about the berries...at least doubled.

Just looked closer, def quad and tripled on wreath leaves and berries.

Heres why I think the America is doubled along with Die deterioration. But the left leg in M does look tripled to me. I did not realize this Vam had so much going on. I had picked two raw ones because of the clash marks and this is the first time I am really looking at them good. Thanks for posting!

I just really enjoy clashing and so I spend a good deal looking them over...I'm glad it's helping you enjoy yours more!

Thanks!@ ShamShield. The more clashed cracked doubled and broken the better! When I first started looking at coins I started with collecting Lincolns, then Kennedy's and now Morgans, which are my favorite because there are so many varieties! Nothing like it to me! I am hooked! I seem to be spending way too much time with them but you only live once and It's what I enjoy!
