Searched the 1921-D scribbles guide twice, but came up empty. Can anyone else give it a try? Otherwise they go to @messydesk for evaluation. Thanks in advance!
Coin #1: Multiple photos, because there are scribbles going in several different directions.
Coin #2:

When in doubt... don't.
Re: (4) 1921-D scribbles help needed
Wowzer, cool pictures. When the light angle is just right they look heavenly. Even for 1921 coins!
I truly believe (pun intended) that someone more capable will chime in, but it being Sunday and I'm in a rather peculiar mood (induced by chocolate and caffeine in the form of a mocha) I will openly admit I see sphagetti. But not just any sphagetti...
... divine sphagetti.
I believe you have been blessed, @DHalladay, with direct contact with the Flying Sphagettin Monster. Don't know about it? See https://www.spaghettimonster.org/about/.
I hope this is received by our brothes and sisters on this site as a bit of lightness in a bedimmed world (puns again intended), and not heresy. I promise I will delete it if many take offense...

Dennis;
In the first three photos of coin #1:
What was the thing(s) you changed to get three different perspectives?
Lighting, light direction, f-stop change, photoshop maybe? I see just enough 'hints' to know they are all the same coin.
thanks

All I moved was the location of the light source (a single gooseneck lamp).
When in doubt... don't.
Re: (4) 1921-D scribbles help needed
Thank you. It sure makes a huge difference just moving that light source. May I ask how you go about doing the comparison with the 1921-D scribbles guide? I am trying this split-screen thing on this computer. On the left is the scribble guide; on the right is your photo. I can just scroll through the photos on the left side and compare.
I wonder how JB does it.?

Re: (4) 1921-D scribbles help needed
We all do it the same way: slow side-by-side scrolling comparison (plus lots of squinting and lots of sighing, knowing that there are a ton of 1921-D VAMs that do not have photos in the scribbles guide.
When in doubt... don't.
