Regarding Varslab vs VSS = I used to send raw Morgans for attrib but not having a grade
seemed counterproductive. I personally think getting a coin
graded then attrib on holder VSS makes more sense times 2x.
Some would say if your not selling then it doesnt matter but knowing
and having a grade helps authenticate, as well as value the coin properly
Now the top auction companies are accepting VSS attrib Morgans, which
really helps buyers & sellers overall. One issue seems to be: Common date
& grade Morgans that are Attrib on holder with vam of no premium (common)
seem to bring less money at auctions, probally because buyers enjoy
" The Thrill of The Hunt" syndrome, looking for added value from a premium
valued vam.
IMHO- Knowing your coins grade & attrib adds value in general, and keeps
the owner from missing unknown value within his/her collection.
