Does the curvature visible in the recessed denticle area (raised on die) match that of the top surface of a numeral "8?" That match is required if it is an "eight in denticles" variety. (The same applies to all similar claims.)

It may also be a good idea to remember that when the dies were made it was very often the case that drinking beer was safer that drinking water. The practice of drinking beer at lunch was very common and did not carry the same stigma that we assign to said practice today.
