Will a "beveled field" still be a listable die feature or just used as a die marker?
I have a VLDS 1921 D VAM 1B1 with displaced field breaks : above and below tip of bust
top of E and above rim to rim Obverse
above BU
below LA
above ED Reverse
strong full Capped R Break
Heavily polished right wing, feed finger gouges/polish thru AT, God, down to eagle's right shoulder - wing.
Beveled field above OF.
Does anyone have (or seen) the VAM 1B1 Capped R with these features?

Re: Beveled Field Capped R
Short answer is that it's not listable on its own. The longer answer lies in the rules for listing die stages.
The cracks you mention are already well-documented for VAM 1B.I have a VLDS 1921 D VAM 1B1 with displaced field breaks : above and below tip of bust
top of E and above rim to rim Obverse
above BU

above ED Reverse

Beveled field above OF.

Re: Beveled Field Capped R
THANKS Mark ! Looks similar to mine. I believe I see the beveled field towards denticles above OF on your PCGS specimen VAM 1B1 also. Does your piece show die break across top of E (obverse) following die crack as elevated above adjacent normal letter E height?
