Let's see...

1. The coin has an obverse horizontal crack that goes cleanly between left stars 1 &2 instead of clipping or going into a star. 3FT2 is the only VAM I know with that characteristic. But it isn't a 3FT2 IMO.

2. That is a crack that Tees off and goes to the chin, right; it isn't a drag mark? There's nothing like that combination in the die cracks break guide.

3. There's also nothing like the crack under STATES in the break guide.

4. The scribbles are interesting. A heavy slanted patch of them obliterates the bottom half of UTF #4, which is really distinctive. And the diagonal polishing line that goes up and right from the base of UTF #2 is distinctive too.

5. The long and pretty fat scribble that goes a long way up the outside of UTF #5 is also distinctive.

6. The long up & right line on the right side of the left scribbles opening is a bonus.

In other words, there are multiple compelling things to match an attribution to... if an attribution was already known. Bottom line – if this were my coin I'd be sending it to you and J.B. and make a case that it's a new one.

I agree it's VAM 3BB!

I started a "21P die crack break guide - guidance / discussion" thread a while ago, mostly to say that we should add break diagrams for both 3BB and 3CV. Haven't gotten around to figuring out the best way to make these...
