Rarity and collector demand are two much different things.
The few I have in my sales database have basically sold for no premium.

When in doubt... don't.
Re: No Respect to start 2022.YES?

that are overlooked/under appreciated by
collectors. A prime example is my PCGS 1881-0
vam 16 in ms64dmpl. What a stunning coin but
nobody seems to care which frustrates me.
If i cant get some type of premium i will simply
keep it stashed.
Really wierd how some vams start out kinda
neat , then go ballistic= 1887 o vam 30A comes
to mind as heritage sales show pretty big money
& one sold last week for super premium

Do you feel the 1881-O VAM 27 should have a premium .

My 1887 o vam 30a is only a 62 but think I paid 250 for it. Glad I did.morganman wrote: ↑Sun Jan 02, 2022 12:11 pmQuite a few low pop seemingly tough finds

1887-O VAM-30A in PCGS MS-65 census 1/0
I don't know many one and only TOP POP VAMs that fill the top spot in four different lists.
This one does. I understand why the bid went up.
